With the mild winter temperatures, early warm spring temperatures, and the moisture that was received a couple weeks ago, weeds are growing a lot. This friendly reminder is being sent out to encourage homeowners to take a look at your individual properties, and remove/treat the weeds that are growing, including weeds/grasses growing in rock beds.
We fully understand that trees/shrubs/grasses/weeds are all growing about a month sooner than in a typical year, therefore homeowners are going to have to be responsible and begin lawn maintenance early this year as well. In “normal” years, the un-official kickoff for landscape maintenance is Mother’s Day Weekend. This year, with the early spring growth, we encourage everyone to begin their landscape maintenance to ensure weeds do not get out of control.
